Description
Heartland Family Service is hiring a Triage Navigator to serve as the first point of contact for consumers referred to the Crisis Stabilization and Resource Center. The role conducts intake and screening, orients and supports clients, assesses crisis needs, teaches coping skills, develops stabilization plans, monitors medication, provides crisis intervention, and maintains client records and facility safety. The position works 40 hours per week on overnight shifts from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Sunday through Wednesday, with compensation of $20.42 to $24.70 per hour based on relevant experience. Two years of direct care experience in the human services field is required; a bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, sociology, or a related human service field is preferred.
