Description
The Triage Specialist manages patient and staff calls, prioritizes requests, provides patient guidance, schedules appointments, processes pharmacy requests through e-Rx, handles lab reports, coordinates doctor-to-doctor and doctor-to-patient communications, monitors schedules, and documents activities in patient records. The role is remote but requires the employee to be based in Cincinnati, with a normal office environment, possible travel to other CVP locations, and exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and cleaning supplies. Applicants need a high school education, computer experience, at least one year of ophthalmic or optometric medical office experience, and OSC or higher licensure.
