Description
The Grain Elevator Operator receives, stores, conditions, dries, transfers, and loads out grain; grades and inspects corn, wheat, and soybeans; operates grain-handling equipment; works safely with rail cars, trucks, semi-tractor trailers, and barges; maintains bins and loading stations; performs routine and emergency equipment maintenance; transports product; and conducts vehicle inspections. The role requires a Class A driver’s license, at least one year of commercial motor vehicle driving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in an industrial environment.
