Description
The Tug/Fork Truck Operator works in the Operations department under a Janitorial Supervisor, operating forklifts and tugger vehicles to separate, transport, bale, and dispose of recyclables and waste throughout the plant. The role includes completing prior-use checklists, delivering materials, transporting barrels and tire bands, inspecting trailers before loading, and performing other assigned duties. The position requires PPE use, safe equipment operation, physical lifting of up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety and quality procedures. Qualifications include less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, along with the ability to read safety and operating instructions and communicate effectively. The schedule is a day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
