Description
AECOM is hiring a Tunnel Engineer in Chelmsford, Massachusetts to design tunnels and underground structures using TBM and sequential excavation methods, develop support-of-excavation systems, perform analytical and numerical analyses, prepare design reports and contract documents, and provide technical guidance on soil, rock, and ground–structure interaction. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in geotechnical, structural, or tunnel engineering, at least six years of related experience or equivalent education and experience, and a Professional Engineer license. A master’s degree, large-diameter tunneling experience, multidisciplinary coordination, client-facing experience, and geotechnical investigation experience are preferred. Relocation and U.S. work sponsorship are not offered.
