Description
Longwood Gardens is hiring a full-time Turfgrass Technician to maintain turfgrass areas across its grounds. The role includes pesticide applications, sodding, seeding, aeration, leaf cleanup, snow removal, equipment operation, soil testing, fertilization, pest treatment, irrigation maintenance, and support for planting, mulching, pruning, and seasonal programs. The position reports to the Turfgrass Manager, requires occasional weekend, evening, and holiday work, and includes a 6:00 AM start time. An associate’s degree in Turfgrass Management or a related field is preferred but not required; two years of groundskeeping, golf course, or estate maintenance experience and small-equipment operator skills are required.
