Description
The Tutor provides individualized and small-group literacy and math tutoring for K–5 students and subject-specific support for grades 6–12, while adapting instruction to student needs, tracking progress, collaborating with families and program staff, and supporting enrichment activities. The role is part-time, non-exempt and hourly, with a stated salary of $15–$20 per hour. Candidates may be current 11th- or 12th-grade students with a 3.5+ GPA, enrolled college students, or current teachers with a valid Florida teaching certification and at least two years of K–12 teaching experience; bilingual ability and prior tutoring or mentoring experience are preferred.
