Description
The role provides individualized peer tutoring to TRIO Student Support Services students, supplementing classroom instruction and helping students understand course content, manage their learning, and succeed in school. Duties include submitting weekly tutee progress reports, administering learning-style instruments such as VARK and Barsch, and participating in professional development. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, A or B grades in proposed courses, two faculty or staff references, and be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student; familiarity with SSC within MyBGSU is preferred.
