The Michigan State University Community Music School is hiring a Tutor-On-Call Private Instructor/Ensemble Instructor in East Lansing. The role assesses students, develops individualized lesson plans, records assignments and performance, maintains attendance records, participates in outreach and recitals, and collaborates with faculty. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in music, music performance, or performance, plus experience teaching private lessons on an applied instrument and/or leading ensembles. The position is remote-friendly, may require local travel, and pays commensurately with experience.
