The part-time Tutoring Center Aide – Science Tutoring Lab provides individual tutoring and assistance to AB Tech students in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or Spanish. The role involves tutoring students, maintaining supplies, performing occasional data entry and customer service, supporting a positive learning environment, and enforcing tutoring center and AB Tech policies. Applicants need an associate degree with significant coursework in a relevant subject, subject knowledge, tutoring or higher-education teaching experience, communication skills, basic computing skills, and the ability to use a graphing calculator; a bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience are preferred. The continuous posting pays $20.80 per hour and may remain open until filled.
