Description
The Smelting Furnace Operator will support the melting process in a metal-industry production environment by weighing and loading raw materials, monitoring production schedules, programming production sequences, following standard operating procedures, participating in 5S and problem-solving activities, and maintaining a clean work area. The role may also involve operating related equipment such as a bulldozer, forklift, and power tools. Candidates need industrial experience, mechanical and hand-tool skills, basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, and bulldozers, strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and fluent English or French.
