Thiess is hiring a permanent full-time Tyre Fitter for its Maintenance Team at the Yilgarn Iron Ore Project, covering Koolyanobbing, Windarling, and Parker Range. The role involves diagnosing tyre, rim, and wheel conditions; removing and replacing wheels and tyres; checking inflation pressure; consulting technical manuals and systems; preventing equipment non-conformance; maintaining housekeeping standards; and performing pre-start checks. Applicants need a Certificate II Automotive Tyre Servicing Essential, at least one year of mine-site heavy tyre-fitting experience, open-cut mining experience maintaining a heavy earthmoving fleet, an HR driver’s licence, and a commitment to health and safety.
