Description
The U.S. Probation Office for the Western District of Virginia is hiring experienced U.S. Probation Officers to supervise defendants and persons under supervision, conduct investigations, prepare court reports, enforce supervision conditions, assess risk, administer drug and DNA testing, investigate violations, coordinate with treatment and correctional agencies, and assist with reintegration. The role requires travel, physical capability, a valid driver's license, personal vehicle access, strong communication and computer skills, and either specialized experience or a bachelor's degree with specified academic achievement requirements.
