Description
Shield AI is hiring a UAV Structural Engineer to design and develop structural components and assemblies for its next-generation unmanned aerial vehicle platform. The role covers the full design lifecycle, including CAD modeling, detailed design, hand calculations, structural validation, documentation, system integration, and support through manufacturing and flight testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, at least two years of aircraft structural design experience, CAD proficiency, and knowledge of composite and metallic structures, GD&T, and DFMA. The position offers a full-time regular employee package with pay, bonus, benefits, and equity, or a temporary employee package with applicable benefits after 60 days.
