Description
Mayo Clinic is hiring a full-time Sonographer to perform advanced diagnostic ultrasound imaging in outpatient and inpatient tertiary-care settings, including abdominal, vascular, small-parts, and OB/GYN exams. The role also supports complex invasive and intraoperative procedures, interprets sonograms, maintains imaging quality and equipment, mentors staff, and may require flexible scheduling, on-call coverage, and holiday coverage. Candidates need an accredited sonography program or ARDMS registration or registry eligibility, with one year of experience preferred; ARDMS certification in abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular technology is required within 18 months of employment, and Basic Life Support is required within 90 days.
