Description
The Ultrasound Technician performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures in the Radiology Department, including patient preparation, portable exams, needle-guided procedures, equipment operation, scheduling, clerical support, and report and film filing. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, completion of a six- to one-year program, two years of diagnostic ultrasound experience, CPR/BLS certification, computer skills, and the ability to work within 30 minutes of Mizell Memorial Hospital and take after-hours calls. The position also requires physical ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds and perform other demanding movements.
