OceanaGold is hiring a Heavy Diesel Mechanic for its Waihi underground gold mine in New Zealand. The role performs preventative and breakdown maintenance on loaders, development and production drills, haul trucks, and ancillary plant; maintains equipment records; consults OEM documentation; and contributes to safety, productivity, and cost-improvement initiatives. The position is based in Waihi, offers a rotating seven-on-seven-off day and night roster, and requires an L3 Mechanical Trade Qualification, heavy mobile plant experience, and a full current driver licence.
