Description
The Underground Electrical Engineer leads technical engineering for multi-discipline underground transmission and distribution projects, managing design schedules, budgets, quality, permitting, procurement, construction support, compliance, and project costs. The role also supports RFP and sales proposal content and collaborates with designers, engineers, consultants, and business development teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, at least four years of electric utility distribution engineering experience, and familiarity with utility design standards, safety codes, CAD, MicroStation, and GIS platforms.
