Description
The role plans, directs, and controls maintenance activities for the CM and Outby areas of Cumberland Mine, supporting mine managers and foremen to improve equipment availability. Responsibilities include ensuring safe and legal compliance, coordinating maintenance with mine managers and electrical engineers, managing overtime and maintenance costs, planning projects, monitoring repair performance, and evaluating and training the workforce. The position requires knowledge of maintenance drawings, mine laws, the UMWA contract, and Microsoft Office and IFS; a BS or technical degree in maintenance or mining and relevant Pennsylvania mine foreman or electrical certifications are preferred.
