Underground Mechanic at OceanaGold

OceanaGold is hiring an Underground Mechanic for its Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina. The role maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs underground and surface mining equipment, including Sandvik LHDs, drills, haul trucks, utility and support equipment, loaders, and light vehicles. The mechanic performs preventative maintenance, field repairs, diagnostics, work-order documentation, safety procedures, and reliability improvements, while collaborating with operations and other maintenance personnel. The position requires hands-on mining equipment knowledge, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, physical fitness for underground work, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts.
