OceanaGold, a mid-tier gold and copper producer listed on the TSX, is seeking an Underground Mine Control Systems Engineer. This role focuses on managing underground mining operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and delivering mine designs and physicals to approved standards. The engineer will operate and improve control systems, oversee information provision, utilize data collection systems, and coordinate with supervisors to execute tasks safely. Responsibilities also include identifying schedule risks, mitigating them, accelerating work, preparing reports, designing reporting systems, and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
