Illinois Mutual is hiring a full-time Underwriter Trainee for individual disability income insurance in a hybrid role. The trainee underwrites application files, supports the sales process, gathers field-force information, submits higher-risk applications for review, and develops the knowledge and skills needed for promotion to Underwriter. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or approved equivalency, strong communication and analytical skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to learn quickly; anticipated salary is $51,600 to $53,600 with medical, life, disability, dental, and vision benefits.
