Polo Managing Agency is hiring an experienced Underwriting Controls Manager to support the onboarding of new syndicate clients and oversee the development, delivery, and compliance of its underwriting governance framework. The role involves implementing underwriting controls, maintaining syndicate Letters of Authority, managing exception reporting and corrective actions, conducting file reviews, supporting peer and independent expert reviews, preparing Lloyd’s regulatory returns, and ensuring compliance with Lloyd’s Principles for Doing Business and applicable UK or international regulatory obligations.
