EMC is hiring a summer paid internship in one of its branch underwriting departments. The intern will assist underwriters in evaluating new business and renewal submissions, communicate with agents and other outside sources, learn EMC’s culture and products, and gain understanding of the insurance underwriting process. The role is eligible for a hybrid schedule in the Dallas, Texas area and requires a business major, preferably in insurance, marketing, or finance; completion of junior year; a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher; and strong communication, analytical, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, and computer skills.
