EMC is hiring a summer paid internship in one of its branch underwriting departments. The intern will assist underwriters in evaluating new business and renewal submissions, communicate with agents and other outside sources, learn EMC’s culture, business processes, and products, and gain understanding of the insurance underwriting process. The role is eligible for a hybrid schedule from Downers Grove or Chicago and requires a business major, preferably in insurance, marketing, or finance; completion of junior year; a 3.00 or higher cumulative GPA; and strong communication, analytical, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, and computer skills.
