OnDeck is hiring an Underwriting Manager to lead the production, quality, and performance of small business loan decisioning in the Utah office. The role manages Underwriting Supervisors and Team Leads, develops front-line managers, establishes workflows and throughput targets, escalates complex credit decisions, collaborates with Sales, Product, Compliance, and Operations, and owns workforce planning and talent acquisition. Candidates need at least five years of small business or commercial lending underwriting experience, seven years managing people, and experience in a high-volume, technology-enabled lending environment. The position offers a hybrid schedule, health, dental, and vision insurance, and an annual salary range of $77,000 to $115,000.
