Description

ICW Group is seeking a highly experienced and driven Underwriting Supervisor to lead, train, and develop a team of Underwriting Assistants. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely policy processing, endorsement handling, account management, and underwriting support for Workers' Compensation and Commercial Lines businesses. This role involves overseeing workflows, evaluating process improvements, fostering a customer-focused culture, and providing technical guidance to resolve complex policy administration issues.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of total insurance industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in underwriting support, underwriting operations, or a related role such as an Underwriting Assistant. Workers' Compensation insurance experience is mandatory, while Commercial Lines experience is preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in leading, supervising, or managing teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to coach, train, and develop team members, coordinate workflow, and support operational goals.
Working knowledge of Commercial Property, General Liability, Commercial Auto, and Workers' Compensation coverages.
Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills, capable of building technical capabilities within a team.
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and insurance administration systems.
Associate in Insurance (AINS)
Associate in Underwriting (AU)
