Core Specialty is hiring an entry-level Underwriting Technician to support commercial auto and specialty insurance underwriting operations in Long Beach, New York. The role reviews applications and policy documentation, prepares and issues new and renewal policies, processes endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, certificates, driver information, MVRs, vehicle ID cards, and federal and state filings, and performs quality-control checks. The position requires a bachelor’s or associate’s degree, basic Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills; insurance experience is preferred. The expected pay is $48,000 to $52,000, and the role is hybrid.
