Description
The Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center is hiring a Unit Chief Psychiatrist to lead an 8-bed Extended Observation Beds unit. The role provides overall clinical leadership, direct psychiatric care to adult patients with acute psychiatric disorders, interdisciplinary treatment planning, supervision of psychiatry residents, quality and safety oversight, regulatory compliance, and academic teaching. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible, hold a New York State medical license, and qualify for an Assistant Professor or higher academic rank. The position offers a full-time salary range of 255,000 to 320,000, excluding bonuses, incentives, and benefits.
