Description
The Nurse Educator plans, implements, and evaluates educational and quality-improvement activities on the nursing unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The role models excellence in patient care through clinical practice, integrates new nursing knowledge, and adheres to nursing-care standards. It requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, current Michigan RN licensure, BCLS certification, and the ability to teach patients, families, and coworkers; four years of clinical experience with a defined patient population is preferred.
