Description
The Unit Management Supervisor reports to the deputy warden, operations, and directly supervises unit managers. The role oversees the daily operations of the unit management department and housing units, supervises programmatic functions, supports offender release preparation, conducts case-manager training, reviews inmate files, provides counseling and social-adjustment services, coordinates with other departments, and maintains accountability for staff, inmates, and property. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of counseling or related correctional experience, a valid Ohio driver's license, and preferably supervisor experience and a related bachelor's degree.
