St. Joseph’s Center is hiring a per diem Unit Manager for its residential program at the Intermediate Care Facility on the Main Campus in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The role leads a team of Direct Support Professionals, supports residents with person-centered care, trains staff, monitors care plans, maintains a safe and organized unit, reports medical concerns, and assists with hiring and training. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, one year as a DSP, CNA, or similar role, a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, reliable transportation, the ability to lift 10–50 pounds and assist with transfers, and strong communication and teamwork skills; supervisory experience is preferred.
