Description

Harvest Operations Corp. is seeking a full-time Unit Operator to join their team in Conklin, Alberta. The Unit Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various Field/Process/De-oiling equipment, specifically focusing on SAGD Well Pair operations, Injection, Production, and Testing facilities, as well as Source Water Wells and Observation Wells. This role involves monitoring equipment performance, initiating work requests, authorizing safe work permits, developing operational procedures, and troubleshooting issues. The operator will contribute to optimizing field efficiency and ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Minimum 3 years operations experience with a good understanding of process equipment used in SAGD operations such as: water-tube boilers, glycol heaters and systems, instrument/utility air systems, high pH mechanical vapour compressor evaporators, crystallizers, FWKOs, Treaters, diluent recovery, tank vapour compression, produced water de-oiling.
Preferred Qualifications: SAGD or other commissioning and start-up experience is an asset.
Ability to read and interpret facility drawings.
Self-motivation with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Proficiency with personal computers, software applications, and facility control systems.
