Weber State University is hiring an Assistant Professor of Social Work for a nine-month, full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment in its BSW program, opening fall 2027. The role teaches undergraduate courses in foundations of social work, human behavior in the social environment, behavioral health, and substance abuse, and also supports committee work, professional activities, presentations, publications, and community service. Applicants must have a PhD in Social Work or a related field, an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program, at least five years of paid post-MSW practice experience, and Utah LCSW eligibility; ABD candidates with dissertation completion by June 2027 may be considered.
