Booz Allen is hiring a Quantum Computing Research Intern for a hybrid role in Washington, District of Columbia, United States. The intern will work with quantum research staff to understand customer needs, provide software development support, apply software engineering or computer science expertise to quantum systems, identify growth areas, and build MVPs and scalable frameworks for artificial intelligence and quantum computing use cases. The role requires research experience in computer science, quantum technology, physics, chemistry, or mathematics; experience with quantum algorithms, software development, or quantum computing applications; knowledge of Agile and object-oriented languages; and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Applicants must be scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029. The projected annualized compensation is $69,400 to $158,000 USD, with benefits available to full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours per week.
