Description
The Unix Systems Engineer will support the design, administration, security, reliability, and governance of AIX, Linux, and OpenShift environments for a multi-year IT integration project. The role manages more than 2,000 physical and virtual AIX/Linux servers across on-premises and cloud environments and contributes to OpenShift, Ansible, cloud infrastructure, and automation initiatives. It is a contract position based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with mostly remote work and periodic on-site requirements, and is anticipated to close on September 30, 2026.
