Description
Penn State’s Upward Bound Programs is hiring Instructors for the 2026 Summer Academy, an approximately three-week program for about 40 high school students from June 15 through July 31. Instructors will deliver 20–30 hours of in-person or virtual instruction per course, create responsive lesson plans, mentor students, maintain records, attend orientation and professional development, and communicate with staff and residential mentors. The position pays $25.00 per hour and requires relevant teaching experience or an undergraduate education in Education or a related field; applicants must also complete specified Pennsylvania and federal background checks and clearances.
