Description
The Utilities Superintendent will maintain the efficient operation of kraftmill recovery systems, including recovery boilers, evaporation and stripping systems, tall oil, and turpentine recovery. The role leads the Utilities Department toward health, safety, operational, production, and cost targets; develops training programs; participates in budget reviews; maintains union dialogue; and coordinates with Maintenance. Candidates must hold a 2nd Class power engineer certificate, demonstrate strong communication, organizational, computer, and prioritization skills, and be legally able to work in Canada. Compensation is $100,000 to $140,000 plus an annual bonus and relocation assistance, with medical, dental, vision, pension, and vacation benefits.
