Description
AHF Products is hiring a Utility Operator for its Sawmill in Norton, West Virginia. Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, the role operates and monitors sawmill equipment such as the Trim-saw, Edger, Gangsaw, Chipper, and De-barker; assists with setup, calibration, and maintenance; sorts and transfers lumber; clears jams; monitors product quality; supports inventory and shipment preparation; and provides general labor support. The position requires previous sawmill experience, equipment-operation experience, physical ability to lift 20–50 pounds, and the ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and non-temperature-controlled environment.
