Swarthmore College is hiring a part-time Utility Associate to provide cleaning and maintenance support for its dining services. The role involves washing and sanitizing pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, and silverware; maintaining dish machines and work areas; transporting clean ware to serving lines; and performing kitchen and dining-room cleaning. It is a nine-month academic-year position from August through May, with schedules including nights and weekends, and pays $20.60 per hour. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, customer service experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; prior dish-room experience is preferred. Pennsylvania criminal clearance is required.
