Description
Knobelsdorff is hiring a full-time Electrical Design Engineer to provide technical oversight, coordination, and review of electrical design deliverables for utility-scale solar and BESS projects. The role leads electrical design through preliminary, IFC, and construction phases; validates systems and calculations; serves as a subject matter expert; supports permitting, regulatory coordination, construction issues, and project files; and travels to project sites as needed. Candidates need an electrical engineering degree or equivalent education/experience, 1–2 years of solar or power systems design experience, NEC and renewable energy knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PVCase, and Microsoft Office. The pay range is $100,000–$140,000 per year plus bonus potential, with employer-paid health and dental coverage and other benefits.
