FirstEnergy Service Co. is hiring for an entry-level Rotational Engineering (ROE) Engineer in its Construction & Design Services, Transmission, and Distribution organizations. The 18-month program includes three approximately six-month rotations across electrical transmission and distribution engineering, analysis, construction, startup, maintenance, and operation, with in-person work and geographic flexibility across Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and New Jersey. Participants receive coaching, mentoring, and professional development and are placed into final full-time assignments after the program. The role requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree or an acceptable alternative, no prior engineering experience, safety awareness, communication skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency; AutoCAD familiarity is preferred. The estimated pay range is $70,000-$80,000, with a 20% differential for New Jersey locations.
