The role involves reviewing plans and blueprints, conducting site visits, collaborating with project managers and engineers, estimating labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, negotiating supplier and subcontractor pricing, preparing proposals, presenting to clients, and identifying project risks. Candidates should have at least three years of estimating or relevant construction-estimating experience, knowledge of electrical systems and codes, proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel, and the ability to independently estimate projects valued at $100,000 or more. The stated annual salary range is $63,500 to $85,000.
