Description
The Utility Locator II assists in coordinating field crews and ensuring quality work and safety while locating underground utility lines. The role uses maps, records, and SUE equipment such as ground-penetrating radar, electromagnetic locators, sewer cameras, probe rods, jackhammers, pneumatic tampers, and vacuum excavation equipment. It requires 3–5 years of utility locator or SUE Technician experience, outdoor travel, physical work, occasional overnight travel, and the ability to work unsupervised.
