Description
The Utility Operator 7 performs day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of water distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, irrigation, and stormwater systems. The role includes meter installation and reading, hydrant and valve maintenance, equipment operation, traffic and airport infrastructure maintenance, regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, and shift or standby work. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, specified utility certifications, a Class 3 driver’s licence with Q endorsement, safety certifications, strong communication and technical skills, and the ability to work independently and in all weather conditions.
