R-2 Contractors is hiring a Utility-Scale Field Quality Control Representative in Wichita, Kansas, with initial assignment in Pratt, Kansas and nationwide travel. The role is field-based and focused on ensuring quality assurance and quality control across utility-scale power, renewable energy, transmission, and substation construction projects. Responsibilities include daily inspections, verifying workmanship and project compliance, coordinating testing and documentation, resolving quality issues, and supporting project turnover. Candidates need at least 5 years of relevant quality control, inspection, or field construction experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, concrete, renewable energy, or utility-scale infrastructure, along with strong knowledge of construction methods, plans/specifications, testing standards, and Microsoft Office. The position is full time, mid level, pays $90,000 to $120,000 DOE, and includes PTO, holidays, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
