R-2 Contractors is hiring a Utility-Scale Horizontal Directional Drilling Foreman for nationwide field-based work on power infrastructure, renewable energy, transmission, substation, and utility underground projects. The role leads HDD crews through daily trenchless conduit installation operations, including bore planning, drill setup, pilot bores, reaming, drill fluid management, conduit installation, and utility crossings, while ensuring safety, quality, production, and crew development. The position is full-time, mid-level, requires extensive travel across the United States, offers $40–$55 per hour DOE, and includes union wages and benefits such as retirement, PTO/sick leave, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
