R-2 Contractors is hiring a Utility-Scale Horizontal Directional Drilling Foreman in Reno, Nevada for nationwide field sites. This full-time, mid-level leadership role oversees daily HDD operations for utility-scale power, renewable energy, transmission, and substation projects, including crew supervision, bore planning, drill setup, pilot bores, reaming, drill fluid management, conduit installation, utility crossings, and quality control. The position requires at least five years of HDD/underground utility/heavy civil experience, two years leading crews, strong technical and safety knowledge, willingness to travel 100% nationwide, and offers union wages with medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and bonuses.
