R-2 Contractors is hiring a Utility-Scale Trenching Division Manager in Gilbert, Arizona or Prineville, Oregon to lead and grow its trenching division for power infrastructure projects nationwide. The role is an executive-level field operations leadership position overseeing trenching and underground conduit installation, team development, operational planning, equipment and resource coordination, customer relationships, safety, and continuous improvement. It requires at least 10 years of heavy civil or underground utility construction experience, proven leadership of trenching crews and large-scale underground utility operations, and experience with trenching equipment and production practices. The position offers a $180k-$250k salary, travel of about 25% monthly, and benefits including PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) match.
