R-2 Contractors is hiring a Utility-Scale Trenching Foreman for nationwide, field-based work on utility-scale power, renewable energy, transmission, and substation projects. The role leads trenching and underground conduit installation crews, plans and coordinates daily production, reads construction documents, operates or supervises trenching equipment, and ensures safe, high-quality, on-schedule execution. The position is full-time, mid-level, pays $40 to $55 per hour depending on experience and local union rates, requires extensive travel across the United States, and includes union wages and benefits such as retirement, PTO/sick leave, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
